Field Advies has over 20 years of experience in international tax advice. With 20 years of experience, we understand that the best advice rarely starts with the rules alone. It starts with understanding the company, the people behind it and where they want to go.
That conviction led Bas Veldhuis to found Field Advies in January 2025. As your trusted adviser, Field Advies takes the time for every question and stays involved, from the first conversation to the decision and whatever comes after.
Many of our new engagements come through referrals from existing clients and international advisers. This reflects the core values on which Field Advies is built: trust and long-term relationships. We invest in relationships, not transactions. That means taking the time to understand our clients’ businesses and remaining involved long after the initial advice has been given.

Where can Field Advies help
Our work falls into three areas, from strategic advice to the practical side of doing business across borders.
Advice on cross-border structures, transactions and expansion, including corporate income tax, tax treaties, withholding taxes, transfer pricing and permanent establishments.
Support for international companies setting up or growing in the Netherlands, from company formation, administration and tax compliance to coordination with other local specialists.
For EU and non-EU businesses that import or trade goods via the Netherlands, Field Advies acts as fiscal representative and takes care of their Dutch VAT obligations.
